While God is guiding Elder Anderson in his ecclesiastical life, he is also assisting him in his personal life.  Elder Anderson is married to the former Ms. Sandra Johnson and together they have two beautiful and talented children, Nkeche and Nathan.

After giving his life to Christ and touching so many lives through his evangelistic work, God lead Elder Anderson to organize and Pastor the Power of Christ Full Gospel Ministries on October 6, 2002.  The first Sunday Worship service was held at the Mary E. Rodman Recreation Center, 3600 West Mulberry Street.  A total of one hundred and sixty four family members and friends attended – with fifteen persons becoming members on that day.  Elder M. Nathaniel Anderson was officially consecrated and installed as the Pastor of the Power of Christ Ministries by Bishop Heber M. Brown, Presiding Prelate of the PCIF.

Power of Christ Ministries moved into its new location in April, 2006 at 2518-20 Frederick Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21223, after three years and three months at the Mary E. Rodman Recreation Center.

The Power of Christ Ministries (P.O.C.) has been able by the grace of God to impact this community with its Outreach Ministries including the community clean up campaign.  The P.O.C. has worked to change the look of this community by re-establishing the Community Association, working with the people, the Southwest Police, and Congresswoman Agnes Welsh.  The P.O.C. Outreach Ministry is grateful to the Benet House through Bon Secours Hospital and the Haven Nursing Home for opening their doors to our teaching ministry.  This ministry has been blessed of God to have purchased two additional buildings.  One of the buildings is adjacent to the church which will give additional space to Worship and house the P.O.C. Multi-purpose Center and the other building house our Administrative Offices.  Power of Christ Ministries is a growing body of believers and with the leadership of Pastor Anderson; we are charged and ready to meet the needs of the community.  Our goal and purpose is to build a partnership between the church and the community for the benefit of all.  Pastor Anderson has become the Spiritual Leader of this community; he is committed to a positive change that first starts with each person looking at themselves for personal development through the knowledge of the Savior of the world.  Pastor Anderson wants you to remember that you are just one true prayer away from the open door that leads to life and life more abundantly in Jesus Christ.

Determined,

M. Nathaniel Anderson
